Customer Services Assistant – An exciting opportunity to join a small cohesive team in York delivering excellent customer service to our customers.
Cavere Insurance develops, markets and administers insurance policies, through collaborative relationships with leading financial institutions, brokers, and other agents and intermediaries.
Starting salary between £22,750 and £25,480 (depending on hours, skills, and experience). Our standard full-time contract is 35 hours per week (with option for part time working of 21 hours over 3 full days). Our working hours are 9 to 5, Monday to Friday.
Additional benefits: 23 days holiday plus bank holidays rising to 27 days with service, flexible home working available after training period completed, up to 4% pension contribution, eligibility for annual performance bonus.
What you’ll be doing:
- Answering incoming customer questions about our products or services, via telephone, email, and live chat
- Delivering excellent customer service to help resolve the customers’ concerns
- Maintaining and updating customer account records on our admin system
- Understanding the customer’s needs to deliver the right outcome for them
- Attending workshops and other training sessions to maintain and update product knowledge and regulatory requirements
What we’re looking for:
- A great phone manner and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers
- Excellent listening and questioning skills to get to the root of the customer’s concerns
- Someone who works well independently as well as part of a team
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience in customer service
- Previous experience in financial services is strongly preferred
